, based in Singapore, is an agro-food manufacturer and exporter. We are looking to recruit an Agro-Food Supply Chain Manager who will supervise our operations in Singapore, Cambodia and Nigeria.
Manage the day to day inbound & outbound logistics process for both of the raw materials and agro-food products to ensure that all operations can run without interruption.
Ensure that detailed short and long term transportation plans for raw materials and agro-food products are developed to customer satisfaction, using sales order and forecast input.
Maintain the fleet of raw materials and agro-food products trucks in an optimum state, guaranteeing maximum truck availability, maximum delivered product quality against lowest operating costs.
Initiate replacement of trucks, based on detailed analysis of operational and financial information.
Initiate outsourcing of transportation activities where effective.
Manage the day to day operation of the sourcing operations (follow up on purchase requests, stock control, warehouse hygiene, reporting) to ensure that we can ship our agro-products in a speedy manner.
Liaise with Central Purchasing department relating to Material, Requirements Plan and expected deliveries.
Optimize working capital by identifying and removing obsolete materials from the warehouses.
Assist in improving warehouses operations outside the scope of work through auditing/consulting.
